The Login method does not seem to return a response. Using fiddler I am able to see the 3rd party website return a value, but nothing other than that.

I actually somehow missed this note before posting this...

Status 6/6/2012: MetroPandora API is temporarily not working until we get a fix. Suggestions are welcome at J@JustinAngel.net.

I am having the same problem when trying to login. It seems to be related to the problem that happened back in may 2012.

I downloaded the sdk and made a reference to the windows 8 dll from my metro project. When the run my metro project to perform login to pandora, the application errors out at the function

with the error

How do I fix this?

I am running Visual Studio 2012 RC on Windows 8 Release Preview.

In Windows Phone, if A2DP device is configured, everytime it connects or disconnects to the device, the "play" function is triggered.
to replicate:
Install: any WP app based on this SDK. I have repkicated this on following WP apps: Metroradio, WPFandora, Radiocontrolled
Configure: A2DP device like car audio/ headsets

Initialize: WP app. Start any station and pause it. You may close the app.
Connect: A2DP device.

What will happen: Pandora station starts playing without any user input.

Next: pause the pandora station.
disconnect: A2DP device

What will happen: Pandora station starts playing through phone speakers.

I'm just starting to play with this and am getting an exception when trying to login (Silverlight build of the v1.3 SDK)

My code:
PandoraService.Current.Login(username, password, loginCompleted);

Result:
Cannot use DateTimeNowSyncInCPlusPlusTime without using WithServerDateTime. Servertime is 0.

problem solved... it was a crossdomain issue. setting my app to be OOB and elevated made it work. would be nice to get a more precise exception in this case, but i'm good to go now

Yeah, I'm seeing this issue too.

The bad news is that I have no idea how to fix it. The method is only documented as part of pyndora and the current implementation matches their implementation. @ http://google.com/codesearch#-65jVd0CclY/pandora.py&q=pandora%20xmlrpc%20method&type=cs

If anyone has a fix for this, feel free to email/tweet me or submit a patch.

If I can't solve this within a few weeks, I'll remove this method from the IPandoraServiceV1 API.

Created Issue: Can not deserialize PandoraUser nor PandoraStation [14467]

When trying to deserialize any of these classes, the class usually have one or more null values, which prevent it from being deserialized.

Please fix this, on windows phone 7 at least.
